HURRICANE RECOVERY MUSHROOM INOCULATION WORKSHOP & MYCOREMEDIATION OF SOIL
HURRICANE RECOVERY MUSHROOM INOCULATION WORKSHOP & MYCOREMEDIATION OF SOIL
DEC 7th at 1pm
Free Hurricane Recovery Mushroom Inoculation Workshop and Mycoremediation of Soil with Mycologist and Best selling author Tradd Cotter
This event is taking place alongside our saw mill class with Treehouse Trade School, who Tradd partnered with this year to synergize the elements of permaculture and mycology!
Don't toss your downed trees. Before someone takes them away join Tradd for a 3 hour hands on workshop on how to use every part of a downed tree for gourmet and medicinal mushroom production.
We will be discussing recycling and composting with fungi, how to cultivate on logs, large downed trunks, stumps and wood chips. Mycoremediation of water and soil, including construction material and debris will also be covered to improve devastated habitats.
Every participant will receive a mushroom starter culture to take home! Suggested donation of $20 per person will go to Treehouse Trade School community outreach in the Hurricane damaged region.
