Housing for Evacuees

We are coordinating RVs to be donated to families who have lost their homes.

We are also creating spaces on our land for folks who have lost land to park RVs free of charge— regardless of if it is their own RV or one of the RVs that was donated to the cause.

Dormitory Housing for Volunteers

We need HUMAN POWER to run all of our projects. Want to get involved?

Whether you are volunteering on the Mandala Springs land/initiatives or helping out the greater WNC community, you have a home here.

By supporting y’all we are supporting the bigger mission. We are offering lodging and 3 meals a day to volunteers who are serving full time roles.

At any given time we have 20 volunteers on site, and the community here is unparalleled. Apply at the link below!

Past Initiatives

Healing Convergence, Nov. 21-24th

The weekend was created by and for WNC folks whose lives were impacted by Hurricane Helene.

We acknowledge that the hurricane was a community-wide experience, and that we can also heal together, in another community-wide experience; this time of our choosing.

Recalibrating to all of this newness, this grief, this gratitude, this surrender, and this action. Together.

Workshops and 1:1 offerings included breathwork, massage, Reiki + sound, kirtan, yoga, sauna and cold plunges, ecstatic dance, authentic relating, and more!

Naturopathic Clinic for WNC Community, Nov. 2-11th

Dr. Zee, a Naturopathic doctor, graciously volunteered their time and efforts to support the body, mind, and spirit of WNC locals.

Participants could receive help with mold poisoning, medical Grade Herbs & Nutraceuticals, digestive Health & Detox, Sleep, Stress, Anxiety, Chronic Pain & Fatigue, ADHD/Autism Comorbidities, Mold Detox, and more.

Labs that were available: Comprehensive Stool Analysis, Micronutrient Deficiencies, Hormone & Neurotransmitter Testing, Heavy Metal Testing, Metabolic Panels, Mold Testing, and more.

Water Delivery & Volunteer Support

Hundreds of Thousands of WNC folks were without access to drinking water for 8+ weeks during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Our team of volunteers worked tirelessly, bringing spring water to drop-off locations in Asheville and surrounding areas.

The land at Mandala Springs has over 40 natural springs. This land and its stewards carried our neighbors through survival during an extremely trying time.

There is much to be grateful for and much to continuously share. Being able to show up to support others is a value of the Mandala Springs initiative, and we will always show up for those who are in need.

Free Rainwater Harvesting Workshop, Nov. 8-9th

This Lecture and Q & A style class was offered by Steven Sweeney, who has been serving in the field of Rainwater harvesting since 2006. He has designed and built many rainwater harvesting systems for both potable and non-potable water supply. He is a licensed Water Treatment Specialist, and rainwater harvesting design/ installation consultant. He launched Rainwater Academy in 2017 to fill the growing need for rainwater harvesting and water system, education, consultation/design expertise, and training.

Steven offered 5 complimentary consultations ($125 value) to anyone affected by the hurricane and looking to implement rainwater harvesting as a solution. Some components have been donated to Rainwater Academy and will be available to those in need.
